️✨ I’m Gary—a lifelong Whovian, master craftsman, and the heart behind TARDIS Cabinets. Since 1983, I’ve been handcrafting solid wood boxes and cabinets inspired by the Doctor’s time machine. Not mere replicas, but functional works of art—each one a portal to wonder.

Over the years, I’ve created everything from ring boxes and dice tumblers to wall clocks and cremation urns. Every piece is made with care, patience, and imagination. For me, it’s never just been about woodworking—it’s about crafting something real and lasting that brings joy, nostalgia, and a spark of magic into people’s lives.

After years of building in the hills of South Wales, I’ve returned to the U.S. Starting over has been tough. I’m rebuilding from scratch—tools, materials, workspace, everything. That’s why I’ve launched this fundraiser: to revive www.TARDISCabinets.com as a creative hub and breathe life back into the workshop.

I moved to what I thought was my new home in Manzanita, Oregon ...

I travelled to the beautiful seaside village of Manzanita, Oregon and settled in. My roommate and landlord was away for most of my first week, working out of town. During that time, it rained heavily every day and there was no food in the house. Without a car, it was very difficult to manage.

After a few days I was able to get help and buy some food. When my roommate/landlord returned, she wrote a rental agreement stating that my tenancy must end in April, explaining that by then she expects to receive twice the rent.

I feel uncertain about what to do next. I don’t know what this means for me, or for the future of TARDIS Cabinets."
