Tara's medical bills and car fund

Tara became very ill back in January and has been in hospitals and a nursing home since. Due to her illness and our youngest son being a type 1 diabetic I had to leave my job to take care of our kids. Leaving my job caused me to lose my insurance, and forced me to put Tara on Medicaid to cover some of her medical costs. Even with she still had quite a few of outstanding bills which I've been trying to keep up with. At this point I've spent all of our savings, and half of my retirement to stave off collections and try to keep our credit clear. I'm now working three jobs and desperately trying to get help from the state with anything, without much luck. Today, November 2, the transmission in our only car went. I have no resources to fix this, and as it stands the car may not really be worth fixing. Luckily the jobs I work are close enough for me to ride my bike, but I won't be able to take my kids anywhere. I'm asking for help because I don't know what else to do at this point. I've tried not asking for so long, and now I have nowhere else to go. If you can find it in your heart to help my family we would greatly appreciate it and send you all of our blessings.
