Our beloved Taras “terry” Kolosiej passed away unexpectedly on November 8th, leaving behind shocked and devastated family, friends, and coworkers. Terry was a Manhattan North legend, starting his career on the force in Harlem’s toughest precinct - the 28. After 11 years he transferred to Washington Heights 30th precinct.
And after 36 years of faithfully serving the citizens of New York, Terry was promoted to Detective. Terry loved the job, and sadly passed just 2 months after retiring. He leaves behind his beloved wife Jenny, son Russell “Buddy” ,and daughter Nora. He was a mentor a leader and a friend to so many. Please help us support Jenny, Buddy and Nora. Terry was always the first to lend a hand when someone was in need. let’s do the same in his memory.
