My name is Erin and I created this GFM on behalf of my sister, Tara. On 12/29/2022, she was brutally attacked and assaulted by an acquaintance to whom she had given a ride. He left her with a bruised face, broken orbital bone, facial scratches, a broken right hand and stab wounds to her head, hand and left leg. He also strangled her and stole her purse after he had caused them to total the car during the assault as he was sitting on top of her beating and stabbing her. She obviously cannot work at the moment and will require surgeries for the repair to her eye and hand as well as physical therapy for the nerve damage to her leg. On top of that, that was their sole vehicle, so my brother-in-law has to rely on others’ help to get to his job.

I am hoping to help raise funds on her behalf to put towards what will invariably be a mountain of medical bills and post-injury needs, both mental and physical. While that crapstain on society was finally arrested on 1/12, it’s my sister who will be paying for his actions for a long time. Any assistance anyone might be willing to give would be duly appreciated both by me, my sister and our family as she works on recovering from this incident.
