Taralynn and Kevan Akers Fund

The Akers family home in Parkland has been devastated by a fire that started in the garage early morning on July 5th. They were saved by the family dog alerting them to the fire. The fire compromised the structural integrity of the home and due to extensive smoke damage the family has been displaced. Even worse, insurance won't be covering the cost of restoring, replacing or removing any of their belongings. This family not only faces the burden of replacing all they owned but will be responsible for removing their damaged belongings. In addition to the trauma of this experience the Akers will be facing many challenges as they find a new place to live, face the expenses of a special removal service of their fire damaged possessions as well as having to replace all clothing, toiletries, furniture, ... essentially everything.  Please consider helping by donating what you can to help relieve some stress as the Akers family starts rebuilding their lives.
