Story

After loosing my biological mother and grandmother to breast cancer I tested positive for BRCA (that is the gene that causes breast cancer). I have undergone a radical mastectomy and reconstruction. However now 5 years later I am facing the unimaginable and have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and will be undergoing a partial hysterectomy and chemo. I have an amazing oncologist as well as some great doctors that assure me I am in amazing hands. (San Ramon Medical) However now I'm fighting with my insurance and have a huge co-pay, and more medical bills to follow. I know I am blessed to be here , and I look at my daughter and know she's my "reason". I plan on making it my personal mission to help support finding a cure for this horrible disease we call cancer. It's not fair! And it can happen to anyone. "Today I wear teal" Thank you for your help and prayers.
