In need
In rescue, we meet many people, all trying to make a difference, but some we like to think of as Angels. Tara Morrison is one of these Angels!
As I write this I am emotional as Tara is one of the most amazing people I have been blessed to have met in rescue. Calpaws K9 Rescue pulls more dogs from Stockton Animal Shelter and helps more dogs associated with the dogs of this shelter because of people like Tara and Jolene Medieros.
Tara has a huge pack of her own, dogs she has taken in because no one else would or dogs she is fostering for other rescues, including CalPaws. She is there for the dogs and it is unconditional for Tara. This post is about being there for Tara, she needs our help. This is about being unconditional and helping someone in rescue, who in turns needs to be rescued!
Over the past week Tara lost two of her own dogs. While trying to juggle a job which entails a daily list of dogs being scheduled to be euthanized. A hard job to do day in and day out. Tara is on the phone, on social media, working hard to find rescue or adopters for dogs who time out at the end of each day. You talk about taking it toll. This is a hard job and Tara has been doing it.
To have the loss of her own pets has hit Tara hard… both emotionally and financially. This is where we can help.
I ask that those of you who have met Tara, worked with Tara, or appreciate a person in rescue who is amazing…think about helping her as she has helped so many!
Please, if you can spare a few dollars and for all the people that have been touched by Tara’s kindness, caring and love…please give!
From the CalPaws Crew!
