On Sunday morning, Aubree’s birthday, Tara began having difficulties breathing. When it became emergent, brave little Aubree called 911. Tara was taken by ambulance to Austin’s ER where she was later air lifted to St. Mary’s. As of now, she is in the ICU, intubated and sedated. The doctors are saying that had they waited any longer, Tara would have went into cardiac arrest.
Currently, the plan is to to keep her sedated and intubated until tomorrow to give her lungs time to rest and recover while they continue running tests. They are hoping that they will be able to move her to a regular floor within the next few days, where she will continue to recover.
We are unsure of the exact cause, however, Tara has always struggled tremendously with her asthma and ever since she became sick last year, she has had difficulties breathing, as well as previous trips to the ER.
With that being said, we are working on re-homing their 3 cats and trying to raise money for Tara, Matt and the girls, while they work towards getting Tara healthy and home. Matt is currently the only one working, and is taking time away from work to be with Tara. We are hoping to raise enough money to help cover some bills, pay to have their home and air ducts cleaned, as well as purchase some air purifiers.
If you wish to donate, but do not want to pay the gofundme fee, you can send money via venmo to @ashley-lunt-8. Last 4 of phone number is 2445, if asked. Please put Tara in the comments.
If you are unable to donate, please keep Tara, Matt and their girls in your thoughts and prayers, and hit the share button.
We all know that Tara has always been feisty and strong, but right now she needs all of the support she can get! She’s got a long road ahead.
