Tara & Chad Kelly's Baby Girl

My name is Melissa and I'm hoping you all will join me in giving what you can to help offset the costs that my sister Tara and her husband Chad are incurring for their baby girl.

At week 20, they had the anatomy ultrasound and received the difficult news that their beautiful and long-awaited baby girl had a rare birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). Appointments were quickly made in Billings, MT, for review of the condition and severity then choices needed to be made on what would be the next stage of care. Interviews were done with specialty hospitals in Salt Lake City and Denver. Many prayers were said and many tears were cried. Salt Lake City referred them on to Houston and after a lot of thought that is where they decided to go. Tara and Chad left for Houston the last week of October right after the snow storm and traveled to Houston. They have been in and out of appointment after appointment deciding the best course of action for their little girl which right now means that Tara will need to stay in Houston for the duration of her pregnancy which will hopefully be until January, 2024. Not only are the medical costs mounting, housing, travel, meals etc will be extensive over the next 8-10 weeks.

Tara and Chad are some of the best people you could ever imagine, hard-working, genuine, kind, and caring, all mixed in with a healthy dose of sarcasm and dad jokes. I don't know anyone who knows them that doesn't love them.

These two people are among the most generous people I have ever known; they would do anything to help anyone, even a stranger. Please consider giving what you can to help with the burden of these costs. Prayers are also greatly appreciated.
