Tara and Taylor's Medical Relief
Donation protected
My cousin Jessica suggested we do a fund raiser to help raise money for my brothers family. I agreed 100% and decided to help set it up!
Currently, Taylor's wife Tara is in the ICU with COVID-19, fighting for her life. She was admitted on December 15th with pneumonia and has been on a ventilator since the 17th. During this time she has been sedated and was on a paralytic until a few days ago. She has a fever that they cannot seem to bring down. She has had a blood transfusion to get her hemoglobin up. Today she had a tracheotomy as they didn't want her on the tube any longer because it would start to erode her vocal cords and esophagus. The ventilator is hooked up through the trach.
Now I want to tell you a little about Taylor and Tara. They are kind, caring, compassionate people who took in a family members 4 kids to give them a better life as their father suffered a massive stroke and was no longer able to care for them. They have been raising these kids as their own along with their 3 children. Taylor is currently out of work trying to take care of 7 children on his own, all while worrying about Tara as he is not allowed to go to the hospital.
When the time comes, it will be a long road to recovery and more medical expenses for this family. They haven't even celebrated Christmas yet as the kids want to wait for Tara to come home so they can celebrate as a family.
Please donate if you can. Anything would be appreciated!
Thank you!
