Tara and Kevin fundraiser in aid of Cuan Centre

In August of 2022 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and the Cuan Cancer Support Centre in Cavan was one of the first places we turned to for support. Cuan is a social support & wellness group that provides psychological & emotional support services for people with a cancer diagnosis, their family members & caregivers. They have been an invaluable support to us throughout our experience with cancer and I would have been lost without them. We are now in a position to give back and would love to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity.

Exercise was advised as an important part of my recovery plan from Cancer and as I rarely do things by halves, I decided to sign up to run the New York Half Marathon in March 2024. I have roped Kevin in and although we won't be breaking any records, training is going well.
