Tar Barrels walk 500 miles

I'm raising funds for the iconic Tar Barrels event in Ottery St Mary, an incredible tradition that brings our community together every year. To support this historic event, I’ve set myself a big challenge in 2025:

‍I’ll be walking 500 miles throughout the year, accompanied by my trusty companion Darrell the Barrel! Wherever I go, Darrell will be with me as a symbol of the tradition we’re supporting.

I’ll also be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge with my fellow barrel rollers, climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales to honor our commitment to this unique and beloved event.

The Tar Barrels are a vital part of our town’s identity, but putting on such a spectacular event takes funding and dedication. Every donation, big or small, will help keep this tradition alive for future generations.
