Taqueria El Vecino Staff

Taqueria El Vecino has operated without interuption during the pandemic. Until July 2, 2020, when we were informed that one of our employees tested positive for Covid-19. Taqueria El Vecino is  currently closed awaiting test results on all employees. We are raising money for hourly and service staff only. We have a great long term staff  that we NEED to keep in tact. Our goal reflects an average of 2 weeks of wages and tips. During the pandemic we have not laid off any of our staff. The support of our neighbors and customers has carried us to this point!We are grateful for everyone.
During the past several months we have worked diligently to provide a safe envirionment for our staff and customers. Unfortunatly, in this climate, something had to give.  Our desire is to provide lost wages for those that work at Taqueria El Vecino and care for our customers and one another.

The Taqueria itself and management will not receive any of the donations.
