Help Atlas and Ida

Early in the morning last night, two young LGBTQ leaders within our community were attacked in a vicious hate crime. They both sustained substantial injuries, including a broken nose. 

Atlas is one of the loudest advocates in our city for tran and queer rights and representation. She is the heart and soul of Portland Drag Brunch at Night Light Lounge. She was one of my first friends I made here in the city and there are few people with a more beautiful story, soul and voice. She has provided many opportunities for people all over this city including her very sweet and hilarious creative powerhouse drag daughter Ida Summer Garden / Austin. I don’t know many people who are as sweet and kind as Ida, who was hurt protecting Atlas. 

This paragraph summary doesn’t do either of these beautiful souls any justice and we have to do what we can to help these two. This fundraising is a drop in the bucket for the pain and suffering they are/have endured. Ida’s phone was smashed and there will be medical bills along with possibly needing to take a break from working. I implore you to donate what you can and to show support in any way you can.
