I started Adult tap dancing back in February this year, the reason being is that I suffer, as many others, quite badly with SAD syndrome. I needed something to bring a little life to my life in the dark and wet days, something to look forward to, something for ME and something to get me off the couch and out of the house. I can honestly say it has helped me mentally and physically, I've made new friends, got fitter and helped me in losing weight. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to add a bit of fun to their lives.

This has now given me the opportunity to help others in terms of the annual Tapathon, an event that takes place across the UK where 'tappers' get together (virtually) to break records, world and fundraising records.
