We are Peni and Natalie Tapaweluwelu, an American and Fijian family with three kids, who have a dream to see this little country thrive by taking it back to the farm and by championing its youth. Join us in our journey by giving to this dream and investing in the FUTURE of a nation!

 

Welcome to our journey back to the islands!

If you didn’t know, now you know, we’re crazy! We have crazy big dreams! We’re crazy about the Pacific! And have a crazy big God!

Fiji has announced its opening its borders on November 1, 2021! Whooo! After about a year of completely closed borders and shut-down flights this is incredible for us us personally and the country.

God spoke to Peni and I(Natalie) before we were even married about impact among the “fatherless” in the Islands. Now that we have three gorgeous boys, we are on our way to Fiji to do just that and so much more.

We have many pieces in the shuffle to leave America and settle well in Viti Levu (the big island), and as I said, some big plans!

FIRST STEP is to buy agricultural land and begin a farm. We have 10 acres that has been offered to us in a prime location! This Christmas we plan to be there and make this happen! We want to ALL put our feet on the ground, put the first crops in, and set ourselves up for success.

This farm will support us as we live in the island. It will also be the funding for our dance ministry to children in Suva. (View the video link on this page to get a deeper insight into this!)

Peni and I both worked under Youth With A Mission for about 5 years, dancing with Island Breeze Productions. In this branch of YWAM we trained and performed the gospel through Pacific Island dance and song like Hawaiian hula, Fijian mekes, Maori hakas with upmost respect for the cultural aspects of redeeming these dances. Our heart is to preserve the cultural dances of Fiji and the language with youth. We want to create a safe environment where they are accepted, championed, discipled, and released into their destinies, by also grounding them in their cultural identity AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, identity of sons and daughters of the most high king, and citizens of heaven.

So here is where you come in…

WE NEED $30,000 USD BY THANKSGIVING DAY 2021. (This includes property costs, flights for the family, quarantine fees, and accommodation)

That’s right. BUT WE HAVE A HUGE GOD!!

My dream is that even if people just give financial “seeds”, that we will together see the miracles that God can do in securing this beautiful property in Fiji!

$170 USD Lagi (baby's) passport 
$15,000 USD Land cost
$500 USD First seeds/seedlings to be planted
$1000 USD AirBnB accommodation in Suva (after quarantine)
$2000 USD Rent and bills (in CA) while away
