- On October 18-19 the Dar es Salaam Yacht Club host the Annual Laser24 Hours Charity Race to raise funds for the Tanzania National Sailing Program. Here is why you should support the event and the Program.

- The Tanzania National Sailing Program (NSP) is more than just learning how to sail—it’s about developing essential life skills and creating career pathways. For many young Tanzanians, especially those from under-resourced communities like Msasani and Kigamboni, sailing provides a chance to build confidence, discipline, and perseverance. 2. We are promoting Tanzania’s national and international sporting competitiveness
- The NSP aims to produce world-class sailors who will represent Tanzania at prestigious competitions like the Optimist African Championships and the Youth Sailing World Championships. With the right support, Tanzania’s sailors could even reach the Olympic Games. Regular training, competitions, and mentorship are key elements of the program, ensuring that young sailors grow into skilled athletes capable of competing at international levels.
