Tanzania - Camps International Expedition

My name is Abigail and I am 16 years old. In the summer of 2023 I will head off to Tanzania with Camps International to spend four weeks working on a range of sustainable and meaningful community, environmental and wildlife conservation projects, as well as undertaking the personal adventure challenge of a 5 day trek up Mount Meru.

I am really interested in conservation and wildlife and hope to have a future career in this area. In my spare time I have already attended some webinars on this subject through Chester Zoo, Medic Mentor and The College of Animal Welfare. I am hoping that the experience will give me further insight into this area and I can learn from this to help my future career.

I need to raise £4,900 in order to participate and this funding page will not be the only way that I will raise the funds. I will also be using a number of different ventures such as the easyfundraising app, holding events at school, babysitting, car boot sales and setting up my own etsy shop.
