Tanzania 2017: Medical mission fund

This account was created by Jyoti & Nindy. We're two friends and registered nurses who are fundraising money for our medical mission to Tanzania.  This mission will take place in October 2017 for 3 weeks.

During this trip, we will be visiting Terrat, a rural town of approximately 14,000 people.  We will be doing a pop-up clinic where we are expecting to see an average of 3,000 patients ranging from newborns to older adults. Our team will consist of Canadian trained nurses, doctors, and pharmacists.  The company we're going on this mission with is CACHA, the Canadian-African Community Health Alliance.  We specifically chose this company because they are a group of Canadians who travel together from Canada to complete these missions. Your funds will be used for medical supplies, mainly antibiotics. We will take all supplies with us from Canada. While we are there we will also train local nurses so they are able to care for their community once we leave.  In addition, we will visit local schools to teach the importance of hygiene and safe sex.

We will be covering the cost of our own flight, accommodations, transportation, etc. and your funds will be used specifically for medical supplies.
