Tanysha Ramos and Family

On January 25, 2023, Tanysha Ramos lost everything in a house fire that started in the apartment below hers.
At 1:45 AM Tanysha awoke to the sound of the fire alarm going off in the apartment below hers. Within seconds she heard the crackling noise of wood burning and saw embers flying by her window. She ran to the front bedroom to wake up her 12-year-old daughter and screamed for her to get out. She then returned to her room to find it filled with black smoke. Not being able to see anything she had to feel around for her 3-year-old on the bed. Finally, catching her arm and dragging her to the front stairs. As she could not see anything due to the thick black smoke she crawled down the stairs carrying her youngest daughter as close to the floor as possible.
Once outside she realized that her sweet pup, Madison was still inside barking. Although they attempted to enter to rescue the dog. The fire department had arrived and pulled them away from the door. Both her cat, Pacino and her dog, Madison was lost.
Tanysha was left standing in her bare feet in pajamas in the snow across the street from the burning house. Watching everything she owned burn in front of her. Everything was lost including her furniture, clothing, washer/dryer, and the equipment and inventory for her small clothing business.
Tanysha will need financial assistance to rebuild her life. She is currently staying on a friend’s couch. She will need to find a new place to live, and living expenses while she deals with this trauma.
Any amount will help. Please donate what you can.
