Tanya’s Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hello all,
My name is Jana and I am fundraising on behalf of my sister, Tanya. For those of you who have not heard, Tanya was diagnosed with Leukemia on April 23, 2021 after a month of frequent trips to the ER for severe fatigue, nausea, pain, and plummeting wbc, platelet and hemoglobin counts, she was finally admitted to St David's North where they performed blood transfusions, platelet transfusions and a Bone Marrow Biopsy that determined she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She has been transported to a nearby hospital that specializes in cancer and will have a rather lengthy stay there as she undergoes treatment. A month ago Tanya was advised to quarantine herself as numbers as low as hers, she has no immune system. She had to make the tough decision to terminate her work as a private teacher, not only is the news of cancer overwhelming, but the thought of everyday bills + hospital bills piling up has her very concerned. If you are able to contribute, it is appreciated, if not, prayers are accepted as well. Thank you all for helping, sharing, praying in this time of need.
