Tanya is a wonderful girl who developed MS in her 20's. Now in her 40's and the mother of two wonderful children she has struggled for more than 20 years with her fight against MS.
Although bound to a wheel chair most of the day, Tanya is a fighter determined to not be defeated by this terrible disease. She is a positive inspiration to her family and friends and a positive spirit in this world.
Tanya's home is not wheel chair friendly making it difficult for her to do the most basic things that most of us take for granted. The simple things in life can be very challenging when you can't move your legs. The funds generated will be primarily used to make her living conditions easier and provide her better accessibility in her home.
In 2015, Tanya lost her mother, Susan Larivee, who was her best friend and biggest supporter. Tanya has loving support from her family, and her two children sacrifice their time to take care of their Mom but they also have to go to school and work to help support the family. So the remaining funds will be used to help cover the cost of a part-time care giver to help with basic daily needs.
Your generousity is greatly appreciated by Tanya's family, friends, and support group and we appreciate any contributions you can make no matter how small.
