I am launching this campaign on behalf of my daughter, Tanya, whose fervent hope is to attend Tomer Devorah, a seminary in Yerushalaim, starting in September of this coming school year.  

I am a preschool teacher and have worked in two Jewish schools for the past seven years; this having been my only source of income.  The incredibly helpful administration, generosity of the Board of Directors, and the awesome student body of Shaarei Bina Torah Academy for Girls of Hollywood, Florida has made it possible for my daughter to receive an excellent Jewish high school education as well as cultivate life-long friendships. I cannot adequately express how appreciative I am and how fortunate Tanya feels for having had the ‘Shaarei Bina experience’.

It is Tanya's dream to be able to continue her learning and further her goals as a future Akeret Habayit in Eretz Israel this coming year. Her senior class trip to Israel made a very positive impact on Tanya and sealed the certainty of her wish to attend seminary.  She would like to pursue a career in nursing and is looking forward to attending a local college when she returns to Florida.  Tanya is a very special young lady in many ways. She very much enjoys and has been involved in helping Jewish youth through such organizations as NCSY and Yachad over the past few years. Tanya not only takes pride in her Judaism, but wants to give that Jewish pride to other teens and adults by emulating the Jewish values and middot she has learned.

Seminary, and a Jewish Education in general, comes with a formidable price tag that I am not only willing but happy to sacrifice for, even it if means that I must  become a personal fund raiser!  If you are in a position to help launch Tanya into the next and very important phase of her life and would like to make a donation toward this meaningful endeavor, your gift would be most appreciated and we will be forever thankful.
