In Loving Memory of Tanya Shannahan - Walsh

Hello everyone, my name is Corey, and I’m Tanya’s brother-in-law. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time for her family.

Tanya passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving us all in shock and sorrow. She spent nearly 40 years in Ontario raising her beautiful family, but her heart always remained close to her birthplace—Cape Broyle, Newfoundland. It was Tanya’s wish to be laid to rest beside her parents and siblings in her hometown.

We are working to fulfill that wish and have made arrangements to bring Tanya home to Newfoundland. Ten immediate family members from Ontario will be traveling to attend the viewing and funeral, ensuring Tanya is surrounded by love as she’s laid to rest.

Tanya leaves behind her devoted husband of 32 years, Gary; her children Ashley (Calvin) and Johnathon (Jessica); and her cherished grandchildren: John Jr., Tyson, Hudson, Hayden, and Harper.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of travel, transportation, accommodations, and funeral arrangements. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference.
