Our mother Tanya was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Cervical Cancer. We are members of the Kainaiwa Blood Tribe in Alberta, Canada.

Although this is a tough time for us we are choosing to focus on the positive and stay hopeful for her recovery.

We will be needing all the support we can get. We all live in Lethbridge and will have to commute to the Arthur Child Cancer Centre in Calgary starting early June.

My sisters and I are all mothers ourselves and live paycheck to paycheck. The last thing any of us expected was to hear this dreadful news. We are not prepared for what is to come.

I humbly ask for donations to help with the upcoming costs we will be facing as a family to help our mother recover from this horrible disease that has impacted our family.
