Tanya LOVED the Sarah P. Duke garden. She walked through it almost daily. She would take pictures, compose Haikus, and commune with nature and friends. It was a place she could be pensive, creative, and silly. I would like to buy a brick for her in their memorial gardens and have her ashes interred there. If your are interested and able, I would appreciate your help in this endeavor. She would also appreciate supporting the mission of Duke Gardens.

There will be a service at the Sarah P Duke Garden Center on 10/14/23 between 2-5. We will have another small gathering for the internment at a later date. I will post the location of her brick when it has been determined, so that you can visit her in nature as the spirit moves you.
