Hi Friends, my name is Miranda, and I am raising funds for my close friends Tanya and Stephen to help with unforeseen medical expenses.

Wednesday, 8/3/22, a rare brain tumor was found when Tanya went to her doctor. Due to the location and size of the tumor, she remains at the U of I with her husband, Stephen.. She had a long, intense brain surgery Tuesday, 8/9/22, and came through it with strength and grace. We are still waiting on answers and have a long road ahead, but Tanya is sitting up and able to speak and walk short distances. She is still in the hospital and we are hoping she comes home soon. Right now, we are grateful that Tanya made it through surgery but still have many unanswered questions.

This medical emergency has been unexpected and has been a strain emotionally as well as financially. Stephen has been traveling to the hospital daily on top of the rising medical bills. We are asking for any assistance and help as you are able. I can say a lot about Tanya and Stephen, but I know they truly appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and assistance as they move through this challenge in their life.
