Tanya and Roux Masella

Hi, my name is Ashley Murphy and I am fundraising for my dear friend Tanya Masella and her daughter Roux. Tanya lost her husband, Zach, to stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer on March 3, 2023. Zach was only 46 years old and leaves behind his wife and daughter of only three years old. Zach battled his cancer for two and a half years, undergoing a Whipple procedure back in 2021, followed by three rounds of chemotherapy. During this time, Zach moved his family from their home in California to North Carolina where they could finally buy a house and lay down new roots.

Tanya's love and devotion to Zach ran deep for seventeen years. She is now a single mother with medical bills, funeral arrangements and a mortgage to sustain on her own. She's also been my best friend for twenty years and introduced me to my husband who has been Zach's best friend for almost 35 years. We are devastated by this loss and hope to do all that we can to support our dear friend through her grief and financial woes.
