Hi everyone,

As some of you may have seen in the news, our parents’ home and property on the Mid North Coast (Moto) have been severely impacted by the recent flooding (May 2025). While we’re still assessing the full extent of the damage, we know the house will be uninhabitable for several months, and a significant clean-up effort lies ahead. When mum and dad were taken by the SES the water had risen half way up the walls inside the home and with more rain predicted we don’t know how much further it will rise. They have lifted up as many households items as they could.

This is extra devastating as they had finally finished rebuilding/renovating after the 2021 floods.

Several kind people have asked how they can help. At this stage, the only support we can think of is by gathering supplies for the clean-up once it’s safe to return. If you're able and would like to contribute, we’ve put together a list of items we’re aiming to purchase or collect.
