Bhavani and Tanvi were in a tragic accident on the afternoon of February 16th in Udaipur, India.  Bhavani lost her life and Tanvi suffered a fracture in her leg and minor injuries.  Bhavani and Tanvi touched so many lives, namely for the work she did with the Study abroad program at Hyderabad Central University.  She was a caring friend to anyone she met and a loving mother to Tanvi.  Bhavani was raising Tanvi as a single mother and they were each others worlds, so it is unimaginable the pain that Tanvi is feeling right now.  

Tanvi is safe and with trustworthy people in Udaipur currently, but as you can imagine she will need the global community her mother was a part of to help in this time.  Tanvi is loved by so many people and it has been heartwarming to see the unconditional support and love she has been receiving.  I am raising money to help with Tanvi's future and so that she has tangible security over time.  The plan is to set up a Trust for her in India, so she may only have access to it.  Myself and others that were close with Bhavani are doing everything we can to ensure she is safe and will be taken care of in the coming days/weeks/months.  She has uncles, aunts and a grandmother in Hyderabad that care for her, but as of now there has not been a set plan of where she will be in the longterm.  I am hoping this money will just give her a sense of financial stability and help her as she grows into a young woman and choses what path she'd like to take.
