Tannica Thomas is a proud mother of three—Nashayla, TJ, and Ziyah—whose love and dedication to her family shine through in everything she does. As a passionate educator, Tannica has spent over four years teaching at Central High School, where she is known for her unwavering commitment to her students, her infectious positivity, and her ability to inspire those around her to reach their fullest potential.

Outside of the classroom, Tannica thrives on life’s simple joys. Whether shopping for unique finds, spending cherished moments with her family, or cooking hearty, love-filled meals, she is a source of light and warmth to everyone in her life. Her passion for creating memorable experiences for her loved ones is matched only by her resilience and determination to overcome life’s challenges.

On June 25th, Tannica was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic appendix cancer, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Despite this life-changing news, she has faced her journey with extraordinary courage, turning her diagnosis into an opportunity to educate others about a disease that is often misunderstood and overlooked.
