#TannerStrong: Join Tanner's Journey to Recovery!

I am Tanner's Aunt (Emily Ellis). Many of you have reached out asking how you can support the LaMagna family, and we're so grateful for the outpouring of love and support! Tara's Lemongrass Spa team is collecting funds via Venmo, and their BMX family is also collecting Venmo and gift cards. However, many outside of those communities are asking how they can support, so with Tara's permission, I am starting this GoFundMe page for them. There are still many unknowns, but we know it's going to be a long journey with many medical expenses no matter what.

As many of you know, Tanner was in a serious BMX bike accident on July 13th (Dominic's birthday) that resulted in a spinal cord injury. The doctors have identified it as a C3-C5 injury, and his spinal cord is very bruised and bleeding. They anticipate he'll be in the hospital for at least two months, but they'll have a clearer picture after his next tests in the coming days.

The medical team is being cautious with the breathing tube, wanting to give him the best possible chance of success when it's eventually removed. In some truly wonderful news, Tanner was able to move his hand tonight! This is a huge step, and we're all holding onto hope for more positive signs.
