To the Sumner-Bonney Lake, Lake Tapps community and beyond,
We are reaching out to let you know we are starting a fundraiser to help Tanner Bohl and his family, and we need your help!
Tanner was hit by a car in Florida on Sunday, January 17th. Tanner is attending graduate school in Florida to fulfill his dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. He sustained multiple injuries including a compound fracture to his tibia/fibula, a pelvic fracture, and possible tears in his knee. He has lung contusions and a lot of bruising and cuts throughout his body. Tanner has already received 2 surgeries on his right leg. He will not be able to bare any weight on his leg for at least 3 months. Tanner’s accident will require him to return home once released from the hospital to start a long process of physical therapy and rehabilitation. This will require him to take a year off from his schooling so he can get better before continuing with his education.
Tanner is in his first year of graduate school. He will be 23 years old on February 4th. He graduated from Sumner High School and completed his undergraduate degree from Central Washington University. Tanner has a positive attitude and is focused on healing so he can get back to his life and school. Tanner has an amazing family. His mother Tara, father TJ, and brothers Luke and Carson are supporting him every step of the way. The Bohl family are dedicated members of the community and have been providing services to youth and families for decades. They now need our help.
The extent of the medical bills will be a serious hardship for Tanner and his family. Our community has always been a source of support when someone is in need and that time has come again.
Please help Tanner and his family by donating today to help cover the cost of the medical bills Tanner and is family are facing. All proceeds will be sent directly to the family.
Thank you,
Friends of the Bohl family
