Family, friends, countrymen and women...

My name is Tanner Bishop. I am a songwriter, musician, worship leader, and producer.

Ever since I can remember I have had a deep desire to write and create. Music has always been the outlet for me to release my past and present experiences, future fears, joys and pain. We all experience life in unique ways and I believe music allows us all to feel and process our emotions from a million different situations together in one moment.

The last 10 years have been a wild ride with many life changes, losses and gains. Throughout, I have seen the ups and downs of putting pen to paper, words to music and setting ideas in motion. At the start of 2023, I had an undeniable urge to finally start this process of putting a bow on many years of songwriting and finding my own sound.

This means I am beginning the process of recording and releasing my own music and I need your help. These songs I am setting out to record are all written from an honest and vulnerable place. Songs about relationship with God, family, friends, love, the uncertainty of life, fatherhood, being a husband and some other seemingly abstract concepts.

I tend to overthink my own work and obsess over every detail. I like for things to be done right and as well as humanly possible. This can be very tricky and quite a pain when most great things cost money. The kind of money that I don't have just laying around.

In order to do this the right way, I need roughly $20,000. That money includes the recording costs (tracking with a band, renting space and gear, engineer), mixing and mastering, pressing physical records, marketing and promo materials, digital distribution, videos, artwork, release show and more along the way.

Once we have the funds to start this independent crowd-funded project, myself and my team will spend some unhurried time together in the same space recording this album. I am setting out to capture this album in the most raw and authentic way possible. Talented people in a room with just enough equipment to capture the heart of these songs.
