GoFundMe help for Sreenivas Rao Tankasala

It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic news of the passing of one of our beloved members in Indo Telugu Community, Sreenivas Rao Tankasala, aged 70, who tragically lost his life due to a cardiac arrest in Toronto, Canada on December 29th, 2024.

Sreenivas Rao came to Canada to visit his daughter who is living alone on a visitor visa. Originally from Chandanagar, Hyderabad. He came to Canada in July 2024 and was scheduled to fly back to India on 1st January 2024, just two days before his passing. Sreenivas was known for his kindness, humour, generosity, always bringing warmth to anyone he speaks to and being the guiding figure to anyone he met. His sudden and untimely passing has left his family shattered.

His daughter, Pavani Tankasala who is alone in Canada, and his wife Nagarajakumari and son Sai Nikhilesh were waiting to receive him back home after 5 months of him being away and with his sudden passing they are struggling to cope with this unimaginable loss. Sreenivas's family in India is facing significant financial challenges, especially with the funeral and repatriation expenses.

TACA is coordinating the logistics to bring Sreenivas's mortal remains back to India. In this time of need, we kindly ask for your support to help his family through this difficult period. Your contributions will be used to cover funeral and transportation costs, with any remaining funds going directly to his family to assist them in navigating this heartbreaking journey.
