As you know, Tanja and Mike are a loving couple raising two beautiful girls (Olivia and Amelia). They both work hard, play hard, and have a passion for one another, their girls, and life that makes them a joy to know. Tanja and Mike are not short on courage either. After all, how many people do you know that pack up and move to another state to improve the quality of life for their girls and themselves?
Being the private people they are, it took a week of discussion and convincing just to get them to allow me to create this GoFundMe campaign for them. Their desire to keep their fight private is also the reason that many of you may be hearing for the first time that Tanja was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
Their passion for life and courage, combined with their faith has them in a very good place to beat this dreaded disease. Tanja’s prognosis is good, but surgery and chemotherapy are required.
Unfortunately, medical deductibles, co-pays, uncovered treatments, and daily living expenses (while Tanja is out of work) cannot be paid with passion, courage or faith. It is for this reason I’m asking you to join me in helping Tanja and Mike ensure that this heart-breaking diagnosis doesn’t bring undue financial hardship.
Anything you can do will mean the world to Tanja and Mike. If you are unable, your positive thoughts and prayers are equally meaningful.
