Tanisha Jones MBC & Renal Failure Fund
Update 12-11-2020:
Tanisha's hydronephrosis is now under control. The doctors removed her stents and capped and removed the drainage bag from her right kidney. She can move around with less pain and she has more energy. She still cannot drive or walk long distances without fatigue, but her mood is better as she tries to remain positive.
Unfortunately, we were informed yesterday that there were more cancerous legions were found in her liver.
Because of this her oncology team is recommending another round of chemotherapy. She will begin infusion as
early as next week and will continue treatment for 12 consecutive weeks. She remains in good spirits and is
prepared for what is to come, including the loss of her hair once again.
She would like to thank everyone who contributed to this fund. It very generous and greatly appreciated.
Thank you all and may God bless you and all that you love.

And the Family of Tanisha D. Jones
As of today, Tanisha D. Jones is homebound with tubes leading from each kidney
and draining to bags to collect fluid and urine. The day before this procedure, she
had a liver biopsy. These back to back procedures are only latest of numerous
procedures over the last 4 years. Four years ago, in late August 2016 Tanisha
was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Tanisha is my daughter. But most importantly, she is a single mother who had
worked up to 3 jobs at a time to support her daughter Camryn. Cam was only 13
years old when her mom was first diagnosed and they are each others world. Cam was her first thought when she was diagnosed.
Since the initial diagnosis, Tanisha has gone through an ovariectomy, left breast mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes. She continued to work a fulltime job
while going through aggressive infusion chemotherapy and 6 weeks of radiation treatment.
Many people don't know that MBC appears in various parts of the body, Tanisha
has it in her lung and bone. After discovering spots on her pelvic bone, she underwent another 4 weeks of radiation which made it painful to walk or even sit for
long periods of time. Determined to care for her daughter, she continued to work full- time, rarely, if ever, calling in sick.
In October, 2020, she was dealt another blow when she was informed that a spot had formed on her liver. To compound the issue, it was discovered that she was
suffering from acute renal failure. In the past month, she has been hospitalized 3 times while doctors have tried to discover what is causing bilateral
hydronephrosis. She has not been able to work dur to the tubes used to drain her kidneys. She has exhausted all sick and vacation time and is now struggling to pay her bills. She has become sadden and frustrated since this is the first time she is
unable to provide for her daughter and herself.
We humbly ask on the behalf of Tanisha and Camryn for any donation toward our $2500 goal. Any funds raised from this campaign would be used for utilities,
mortgage payments , medications and the basic costs to maintain her household.
Thank you all and may God bless you and all that you love.
