In Loving Memory of Tanis

My best friend’s sister, Tanis, passed away unexpectedly—and the loss is indescribable. She was a wild soul with a heart full of love, laughter, and freedom. Her presence was magnetic. She lived life boldly and beautifully, and she touched so many people with her warmth and spirit.

The heartbreak is especially heavy for her family, who are some of the most kindhearted, generous, and loving people I know. Halona(my best friend) is a fierce community advocate whom works as a social service worker and mental health and Addictions specialist. I have seen her help so many, and now it's my turn to help her as she has had to take a step back from employment due to her health, and this passing. Right now, her family is trying to bring peace to her sisters passing, and they are navigating unimaginable grief alongside the heavy burdon of covering the cost of her celebration of life, and travel expenses as Tanis lived out of the province. These funds would help my best friend get to her, and perhaps help with some of the arrangement costs. Please donate what you can, or pass this along.
