Well, this is not my story, is Tania's story, so I'll keep her words.

Hello, my name is Tania, and this is my story.
I am a full of hopes and dreams 30-year-old woman. I studied International Relations, and although I have always been interested in specializing in Children Human Rights, for various situations, I have not been able to, YET. I aspire to study a master’s program in Human Rights in a (hopefully) near future and commence to dedicate my life to a cause that, not only, I feel close to my heart, but also believe most deserving of my time and effort. Unfortunately, for the time being, I had to pause my professional ambitions due to my current health condition.
I would like to relate my story not only with the hope of a raising the funds needed for my treatment, tests, procedures, and derivative expenses, but also with the purpose of encouraging self-exploration, awareness of one’s body and the importance of recognizing changes in it.
On December of 2022 I felt a little lump between my neck and collar bone, I didn’t pay much attention to it but still went to a doctor’s office just to be on the safe side, they said most likely I was getting an infection, and my lymph nodes became inflamed to protect me against it, so I was prescribed antibiotics, but after taking the medication, and waiting for about a month, nothing changed. In mid-January I felt another lump, and started noticing that I was feeling unusually fatigued, so I went to another appointment, and received the same diagnosis, but I knew something was off, I was not feeling “normal,” so I kept trying with other doctors.
By October, I have had plenty of appointments and some ultrasounds that were consistently revealing that I was getting more lumps in the same area, at that point, one of the doctors became concerned about the situation and order me a biopsy, since I had this process within my social security, and it takes months to get an appointment for certain procedures, I had the Biopsy done at a private practice, and received the results at the beginning of November 2023. The Biopsy indicated that I have non-Hodgkin lymphomas, which is cancer in the lymphatic system. After that, I had an appointment with an oncologist, who suggested I got a Pet Scan done, to see if the cancer had spread; it did, but thankfully only to some other parts of the lymphatic system and not to any organs. Following this information, I was referred to a Hematologist to start Chemotherapy, as for now, is the only treatment for this illness. The doctor indicated that the chemo would be quite aggressive, so I would not be able to work, and was advised to be with someone who could drive me to my sessions and care for me afterwards, so I moved back with my mother.
And this is where I find myself today, at the beginning of a terrifying journey, long and difficult, and even though I know I’ll beat this disease, it’s not always easy, from losing energy to losing hair, it really takes a toll on the body and mind.
This is why I come to this platform, to ask for support, so money can stop being a cause of stress and anxiety, and I can fully concentrate on getting healthy.
Your contribution can make an enormous difference for my family and me.
