Hi my name is Andrea and I'm fundraising for a good friend of mine Tania.

Tania is such a beautiful person, so generous, loving and caring and would help anyone in need.

So after presenting at gladstone emergency 3 months ago with excruciating arm and back pain that had been restricting her movements plus a fear if doctors , No time , work commitments ect ... She was sent away in pain with no answers. The hospital refused to do a scan/xray and told her to find a Doctor as this was not an emergency... Fast forward diagnosis after Dr Ismail appointment.. fitting her in priority for a scan .. the results found she has secondary cancer from an unknown source.. 2 weeks later ,unaware tumours ,back fractures , paralysed her body started shutting down.. life savingly Tania's brother flew her down Monday 2 weeks ago to the Sunshine Coast... Thursday taken to the university hospital.. it was not good... Tania started radiation the Saturday , 5 treatments later and her movement was coming back... every day she is growing stronger... she has stage 4 cancer that has gone to her hip and surgery on her hip is priority at the present time... She has also started medication that will slow that down ..there is no cure but she is staying positive and she can't thank the team or teams at university hospital enough for their care respect and understanding

Tania was working casually as a support worker and due to the terrible circumstances she is now unemployed currently has no income as she waits for centrelink.

The funding is to help Tania with any medical expenses, anything she needs to help her with her recovery, bills and anything else she may need to ease some financial stress and help her continue to be positive and fight this and beat it.

Please everyone put your health and yourself as a priority over work etc... your health and life is more important so please look after yourself and family.
