Tang's Annual Social Benefit JDRF

Every year, Thomas Tang and family hosts an Annual Social gathering to raise awareness, and benefit for the, "Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation."

We kindly ask that you RSVP with your $30+ Donation for your attendance which,.. or a $100+ donantion includes your RSVP and a drawing for 2 front center row tickets for the Rolling Stones this June 23rd in Milwaukee. Value on Stub Hub over $2000, plus other concert tickets.

Over the years we raised $8,000 and  this year we wish to set a goal of $10,000 , we look forward to seeing you all there at our Social gathering.

We would like to share this story with you and the Artwork, by Natasha Tang(Type I diabetic since 2009)

"For my art final I was instructed to create a moment in time. As many of you know, I've been a type 1 Diabetic since 2009. My moment in time is to show that I am no longer letting my condition be in control of me. I've learned a few things this semester... You will never see the change that you want unless you do something about it. My life has always felt like a giant puzzle and I am finally figuring out how to put the pieces together. Recently, I have made dramatic changes to improve my health conditions, my education, and my happiness. I am aware that finding a cure may be a long ways away, but at least I found the right direction and I can see that there is hope ahead for me, and anyone who has or knows of someone with Type 1 Diabetes."

"If anyone knows of clinics or hospitals searching for artwork, I would be thrilled to auction off this piece. I do have copies of the original image (which are not framed) that I would be happy to pass on as well. Hopefully, I would like to donate any proceeds to JDRF Southeastern Wisconsin for research on finding a cure."  Natasha Tang - #diabetesawareness
