Tanglewood Music Fund for Camilo
Donation protected
My name is Camilo Gonzalez-Sol, and I am a 17-year old composer and pianist from Montgomery County, Maryland.
This year, I was so fortunate to be accepted into the Tanglewood Institute for composition, an internationally renowned program for high school musicians. There, I will spend 6 weeks studying under world-famous faculty and composing for some of the county's most talented musicians!
Tanglewood (pictured below) is one of the oldest and most prestigious music festivals of its kind-- once upon a time, it was directed by Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein! This summer, I will compose for a full symphony orchestra and meet some of the world's most inspiring artists.

I began studying piano 11 years ago, and today I also play the double bass, perform in a pit orchestra, accompany several choirs, and compose music! My original works have been performed at the Kennedy Center and throughout the Washington D.C. area, and I was recently awarded First Place for Music in the National PTA Reflections Competition.
I am spreading this crowdfunding campaign by word of mouth, and through social media, to help raise the funds for my tuition this summer. Going to the Tanglewood Institute is a life-changing experience for a musician, and I am so excited to have been accepted into their extraordinary program.
How can you help me out? By sharing this campaign, of course! Spreading the word (online or otherwise) is a huge way to help achieve our goal.
Thank you!!
