My name is Taney, and I’m a junior raising money to go on a long-awaited school trip to France this spring.

For me, this trip is about more than just travel, it's about an educational experience that I have wanted to have since I was in fifth grade. Back then, I was so excited for my first school trip abroad, but it was 2020 and the world had different plans. COVID hit, the trip was canceled, and I was completely devastated.

Now, five years later, I have a second chance. My school is finally going to France again, and I would be so grateful for your help to make it happen.

This will be a two-week exchange where I'll host a French student this fall and then live with their family, visiting different parts of the country and getting a true, "unplugged" cultural experience. My classmates and I have been planning this since freshman year, and now that it's finally here, I'm more excited than ever.
