Hi Friends,

The Murphy Family Committee is going home (Jamaica!) and doing something special for the kids!!  On August 16, 2016, my family and I will be hosting a charity event at the Time and Patience Basic School just in time for them to kick-off the school year with a bang!  Time and Patience Basic School is located in Time and Patience District, which is outside of Linstead, St. Catherine in Jamaica.  This particular school is very near and dear to me as it is the school that my mother, grandmother, aunts, uncles and several cousins attended as young children.  The school had its humble beginnings in one room and an outside bathroom. The school has been renovated but the students still do not have access to modern necessities.  Today the school serves 74 boys and girls between the ages of 2.5 to 6 years old and is under the leadership of Ms. Prudence Burke.  We want to raise money to assist this institution in their mission of making future leaders in tomorrow's world.  We are requesting to raise funds by July 8, 2016.
