I'm raising funds for my mother, Tanaya. Tanaya was recently found dead on Plumb Beach, and our family is still trying to process this unimaginable loss. She was a mother of five children, and this tragedy has torn us apart.

Everyone is devastated. Tanaya had not been herself recently, so seeing all of this unfold is hard to even understand, especially because we had just recently seen or spoken with her. The shock of losing her this way has left our family heartbroken and struggling to face what comes next.

Anyone who knew my mother knew that she was full of love and life, and did whatever she could to help everyone she loved.

The funds raised will help cover Tanaya's funeral expenses, which are about $17,000. We are also asking for help with insurance-related costs and lawyer fees as our family tries to handle everything in the middle of our grief.
