TAMUK CLARINETS PERFORM AT ICA IN DENVER

Hello, I am the Assistant Professor of Clarinet at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and I am so proud to be the teacher of 30 clarinet majors who will go on to be performers, educators, and teachers across the state of Texas and sometimes choose to continue their studies in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and beyond! These students have been invited to perform at the International Clarinet Association's 50th anniversary conference, Clarnetfest 2023 in Denver, Colorado. This occasion is made even more special as it commemorates the past and future and we are featuring works by two of our own clarinet studio members - they and my other students are the future - DIVERSE, HARDWORKING, AND PASSIONATE. My students have already worked so hard to fundraise for their travels this summer and have earned almost $4000 which covers their hotel costs. They are still working to cover transportation costs and we are trying to make this event accessible to all and guarantee each member a $100 travel stipend from our organization whether they choose to fly or drive, costs ranging from $100 to $350. We truly appreciate anything you are able to give and we will also be seeking corporate sponsorships in our final push to July 5-9!
