Tamsin Flannery Family Assistance

Hi, My name is Vanessa Broadley and I am Tamsin Flannery's Friend and Employer.

Never in a million years would we have thought we would be raising money for the best coach and friend anyone could ask for. But here we are and we hope you can help.

Tamsin was at home on the morning of Friday 17th December 2021, where she collapsed and had a cardiac arrest. The reasons for this is still unknown , but possibly a arrhythmia of the heart. Tamsin has been in ICU since then , where all the test have been run to ascertain what happened and where her body was at for a possible recovery. Unfortunately it saddens us from the bottom of my hearts, that Tamsin has suffered severe brain injury from the Cardiac Arrest and lack of oxygen. Tamsin will not be returning to her family.
Her life support system has been turned off and she is being cared for by hospital staff that know her and are doing everything they can to make her comfortable until she passes.

This is devastating news for her family (partner Andy and her for 4boys and mum, sister and brother and her extended family). We would like to setup a fundraiser to help raise funds for Tamsin's funeral (whenever this may occur) and to help the family in the short term to be able to have time off to grieve their loss and provide for the 4 boys in the coming future.

We all know this time of the year is such a bad time to lose family, but to lose their partner, mother, daughter and sister before Christmas, this is the worst. It's a time where family should be coming together, not broken apart.

A bit of a story on Tamsin. Tamsin or Tamz as she is better known, is a beautiful mother of 4 boys and partner to Andy. I have personally known Tamsin since our kids where little but only really got to know her in the last 9 years. Tamsin has made loads of friends along the way in her short 45 years. Who all adore and love her for the crazy, wild, fun loving person she is.

Tamz had a love of all things Art and loved to experiment with weird and wonderful mediums to create the most amazing pictures and art work. She called these "Creations by Tamzen". We all loved to see what she would create next.

Another big love of hers was COFFEE, for all who knew Tamsin, knew she could not go without her coffee in the morning. It had to be strong and black, with a ice cube to make it the right temperature. We often had coffee after work and chatted about how she could not function until her first sip.

She was the life of the party, always bringing her smile and chatter to whatever was happening. The whole room would light up when she entered and she would always make sure everyone had a drink in their hand and everyone was enjoying themselves.

Tamz had 2 jobs, one with me and my other amazing coaches at ready steady go, where she always took the time to get to know every child and was always laughing, smiling and making sure that everyone was having loads of fun. Over the 6 years she worked with us, Tamsin grew into an awesome coach and leader and was loved by all the kids and parents who came to her classes, and the best thing was that all her peers loved her and respected her beyond words. She was Tamsin! The other was hairdressing. I know there are lots of people who had their hair cut by Tamsin, and she always loved being able to be creative. Who could also forget the blue coloured hair. I'm sure it was a different colour every 6 months.

Lastly but not least. Tamsin was a loved mum to 4 beautiful boys. She doted on these beautiful children like they were her whole world. Every day she would tell us what was happening with the boys. Each child has their own personality and she would always say "Boys will be boys" and they each have their own flame.

Tamsin's partner Andy. For as long as I have known Andy, he has always worked hard to provide for his family. Andy and Tamz met many, many years ago and had travelled far and wide together. Then the boys came along and they settled down to start a family. 4 boys is tough to raise, but they have both done a fabulous job, and Andy will miss Tamsin as both a mother and life partner.

I am not alone in saying Tamsin will be greatly missed. She will be missed by her boys and Andy, her immediate family, her friends and co workers and anyone who Tamsin has touched along the way.

The raised funds will go to Tamsin's family to help with immediate costs of expenses associated with Tamsin's care and towards helping pay for funeral costs. Remaining amount will be so the family can have time to grieve Tamsin's loss. Permission has been given by Tamz family to raise funds.

If you are able to donate anything small or big, your kindness will go along way in helping make it a little easier financially for her loved ones.

This fundraiser has been started by myself and tamsin's work colleagues.
