Tammy's Urgent Kidney Transplant Fund
Donation protected
My name is Tammy F. Moultrie, and I am a 58-year-old woman in urgent need of a life-saving miracle.
Due to a childhood accident, I have lived with only one kidney for nearly 56 years. Sadly, that kidney has deteriorated over time and can no longer keep me alive. I now undergo dialysis three times a week to survive. While it helps filter toxins from my body, dialysis is not a long-term solution. My only real chance at life is a kidney transplant.
I am a mother, a grandmother, and a lifelong caregiver. I serve as a foster parent to children with special needs, and even adopted three of them. My greatest hope is to live long enough to watch my children and grandchildren grow into the amazing people they are meant to be.
The average wait time for a kidney from a deceased donor is five years or more—time I may not have. While I am actively searching for a living donor, there is another critical need I cannot meet on my own: financial support.
A transplant comes with major out-of-pocket costs, including travel, lodging, and non-medical expenses for my donor, my caretakers, and myself. These financial burdens are heavy—and I cannot carry them alone.
That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Your donation, no matter the size, can make a powerful difference. It will help ease the financial stress during this already overwhelming journey and bring me one step closer to the transplant that could save my life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your support. You are a vital part of this journey, and I am deeply grateful.
