Tammy's Journey: Overcoming Health Challenges

My name is Tammy Devin. I am a 58 year old that recently spent almost a month in the hospital suffering from a flu virus that turned sepsis and caused severe kidney damage. I am unable to return to work at this time which is very difficult for me as I have no paid leave time. I have worked since I was 12 years old and have never asked or needed any assistance. I'm not sure if I will qualify for any type of disability as that is a very long and confusing process. I am in need of financial help to pay for hospital bills and my prescriptions which cost almost $1000 per month and basic food and everyday necessities. I have been participating in clinical trials to help medical research and would like to continue doing that but it is a 2 hour drive from where I live and my current means of transportation isn't very reliable. I am trying to sell as much of my personal collections as possible but unfortunately that will also take time. Even if I sell everything I own it probably won't be enough. So I'm reaching out to anyone who is able and willing to offer a helping hand.
