Tammy's Fight for Breath and Recovery

Hello. For those that don't know me, my name is Tammy. I have been having breathing issues since July 2024. I'm still quite a ways away from my goal. I'm leaving for the first round of appointments, procedures and first two surgeries on Wednesday. A number of people have been asking me to explain what the surgeries are for. The first one is for an ARSA. I have an artery coming off my aorta that should be in the front of my throat. It has grown behind it. The second surgery is for Kommerell's Diverticulum, which is aneurysmal. It is pressing on my trachea, esophagus and thyroid. They will be removing it. Both are congenital. I still gave no idea how long I have to wait for the third surgery which is for tracheal stenosis. I have a long, expensive road ahead if me. I know that most of us are struggling financially and many of you feel bad about not being able to donate. I understand completely. Every dollar helps.
